Easy Lab with Differential Diagnosis

Easy Lab with Differential Diagnosis is a software program that teaches lab testing and differential diagnosis along with deficiency diseases (vitamins, minerals, amino acids, etc).

Easy Lab contains over 800 diseases, 400 labs and 3,000 references. The references are from PubMed and includes a link that brings you right to the web page.

Directions

Click on “Lab Tests” to go to the Labs by Systems page. Click on “Diseases” to go to the Diseases by Systems page.

Clicking on an arrow button brings you to the lab or disease it points to.
The second arrow at the far right brings you to an info page.

Easy Lab will soon be on the Apple Store.

The top menu navigates to the lab, disease and differential diagnosis. Underneath the lab and disease are links to the lists by system and alphabetical. Refs shows you all the references for the lab or disease. Reference shows a single reference.

Diseases

Disease shows a brief discription and standard lab tests. The labs are split into those that are high or positive, and those that are low, which are usually the vitamins and minerals. The sort order is A for primary and B for secondary. M denotes a mineral or metal. V denotes a vitamin, amino acid, etc. The references are shown on the bottom.

Labs

Labs show a brief description and a list of the diseases when they are high or low. The references are shown on the bottom.

Differential Diagnosis

Differential Diagnosis shows a brief description followed by a list of the differential diagnosis, which are diseases that a similar. The reverse lookup is those that have the disease listed in anothers differential diagnosis. The sort order is alphabetical.

Reference

Reference shows the author-date citation followed by the PubMed ID and a brief text. Underneath are links to where the reference is cited.
